Now he’s excited to be in Greenville taking the helm of a family legacy project – Hotel Hartness, scheduled to open this winter.

“I turned down some incredible projects. But none of them had the significance of this property because this property has a family’s name on it. It checked all the boxes professionally and personally,” Mertz says.
